SayItForYou exists to give people a safe space to express what they cannot say themselves. Privacy is built into the service by design, not added as an afterthought. This policy explains, in plain terms, exactly what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it.

If you choose anonymous delivery, your identity will never be revealed to the recipient. That is not a preference setting. It is a firm guarantee.

We collect only what you submit through the form. Nothing is collected passively. We do not use tracking cookies or analytics scripts that follow you across the web.

• Your Name and Instagram Handle Used for internal verification and follow-up only. Never shared with the recipient if you choose to stay anonymous.
• Your Anonymity Choice Whether you want your identity revealed or kept private. We adhere strictly to your selection.
• Message Type and Content The type of message (apology, confession, love note, etc.) and what you want to say.
• Recipient's Instagram Handle Required to identify who receives your message. Not shared publicly.
• Background Context (Optional) Extra backstory you provide to help us understand the situation. This stays internal and is never delivered to the recipient.

• To Deliver Your Message We use the recipient's handle and your message content to produce and deliver the reel.
• To Improve Our Service We review message types on an aggregated, anonymized basis to understand what our users need.
• To Contact You If Needed If there is an issue with your submission, we may reach out via Instagram.
• To Keep the Platform Safe Every submission is manually reviewed to prevent delivery of harmful or abusive content.

We do not sell your data. We do not trade it. We do not transfer it to advertisers or third-party platforms.

• The Recipient (Only If You Choose) If you select "reveal my identity," your name or handle will be included in the message. If you choose anonymous, nothing identifying you is shared.
• Our Team The small team responsible for producing and delivering your message. All members operate under strict confidentiality.
• Legal Obligations If required by law, we may disclose information to comply with a legal obligation or protect users from harm.

All data you submit travels over SSL encryption. Our form handler uses Google Apps Script, which processes submissions on Google's infrastructure under their standard security protocols.

• Anonymity You choose whether your identity is revealed. We honor your choice without exception.
• Data Deletion You can request deletion of your submitted data at any time by contacting us on Instagram.

This service is not intended for anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we discover a submission was made by a child under 13, we delete it immediately.

We update this policy when the service changes in a way that affects how your data is handled. Changes are posted on this page with a new effective date. Significant changes will be noted on our Instagram account.

Continuing to use the service after a policy update means you accept the revised terms.
